All that glitters is not gold ... Sometimes, it's silver! That's right, PMI Queensland is celebrating its Silver Anniversary this year, and we couldn't be prouder of what we’ve built.

Since our inception in 1999, we've witnessed the evolution of project management globally and locally. All while forging a vibrant Queensland community of excellence.

At PMI Queensland, we're all about promoting and celebrating excellence in Project Management. We offer a wealth of resources, workshops, and networking opportunities to help individuals and organisations level-up their project management skills.

 

A STERLING COMMUNITY

Our journey was made possible by the incredible dedication of our 1000+ passionate volunteers over 25 years. In addition to our invaluable volunteers, we've had more than 50 mentors volunteer their time to serve over 100 mentees, who have gone on to shine in their chosen professions.

PMI Queensland has been privileged enough to have had 10 CEOs, 17 COOs, 18 President & Chairs, and more than 50 Directors.

 

WE ARE THE BENJAMIN FRANKLIN OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT!

Genius without education is like silver in the mine ... To further the continuous learning and enrichment of our community, we’ve hosted 500+ guest speakers at our Chapter, Lunch & Learn, PM Behind-The-Scenes, and Career Club events over our 25 years.

 

WE ARE RECOGNISED!

In 2020, our unique contribution to the Queensland project community was recognised when we were awarded the 2020 PMI GLOBAL CHAPTER OF THE YEAR award. 

 

GIVING BACK

Our impact extends beyond the project management community - PMI Queensland was the first chapter in Australia & New Zealand to launch the Project Management Day of Service (PMDoS)! Since then we've delivered 7 PM Days of Service and have helped countless Charities, NFPs and local Queenslanders benefit from better planned, executed and delivered projects and benefits! Join us for our 8th PMDoS on 31 October 2024 at The Westin, Brisbane.
