A: PMI Queensland offers all types of memberships provided by PMI Global.

  • Individual Membership: It makes up the majority of Queensland Chapter’s strong member base.
  • Student Membership: Queensland Chapter works with universities to introduce project management concepts to university students. Students are offered membership benefits at a discounted rate.

Here is the easy 4-step process for you to join other chapter as well as self-manage auto renewal of your membership.

  • Log into pmi.org using your PMI credentials.
  • Go to Membership section by clicking on myPMI on top right corner on the page.
  • You will be taken to Membership Overview page. Click on 'Manage' next to Membership Automatic Renewal.
  • On the Manage Membership page, you can turn on/off automatic renewal of PMI Global and local chapter membership.

myPMIQ is our digital member community on LinkedIn platform. If you have active membership with PMI Queensland chapter, come along to our event to find out how you can get access to it.

How do I raise an issue of an unprofessional behaviour on myPMIQ?

myPMIQ is a platform, where chapter members are expected to engage with vibrant community professionally and respectfully. The platform provides Terms of Service every member needs to be abide by. Moreover, we regularly monitor, and moderate posts and contents posted by members.

Nevertheless, should you come across any unprofessional behaviour on myPMIQ, please contact us on membership@pmiqld.org.

Can I promote my business and/or post advertisements on myPMIQ?

myPMIQ is offered to PMI Queensland chapter members to engage, socialise, and network with vibrant community of project professionals. We respectfully ask our members to not use the platform to promote their business and personal interests.

Please refer to Ground Rules on myPMIQ that every member needs to be abide by.

Can I maintain access to myPMIQ if I leave the chapter?

Access to myPMIQ is private and exclusive to PMI Queensland chapter members. You will lose access to it when you leave the chapter.
