Cyber Security Essentials Every Project Manager Should Know

Business Acumen

Overview

Cyber Security is no longer just the responsibility of IT specialists—it’s an essential consideration for every Project Manager. Whether you are leading IT, Digital, Cloud, Transformation, or even non-technology projects, the risk of overlooking security can have significant consequences.

In this session, Naveen Gupta will share practical strategies and real-world lessons to help Project Managers confidently integrate Cyber Security practices into their projects. You don’t need to be a Cyber Security expert to make a difference—you just need to know where to focus.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will walk away with actionable insights, including how to:

  1. Understand the data you’re handling.
  2. Assess and leverage the risk register.
  3. Include Cyber Security in UAT and Go-Live checklists.
  4. Ask the right questions of your vendors.
  5. Engage a Security SME early in the project lifecycle.
