Dr. Amir Ghanbaripour (PMP)

Dr Amir Ghanbaripour is a highly experienced Project Management Professional (PMP) with a diverse background in managing projects across construction, information and communications technology, and agile methodologies. As an accomplished instructor and agile coach, he is working with several national and international organizations.
With a PhD in project management, Amir currently serves as the 'Head of Discipline' for the built environment portfolio, encompassing Project Management, City Planning, and Property Valuation, at Bond University. He leads the Project Management program and teaches a range of courses, including "Principles of Project Management" and "Systems Thinking and Modeling for Projects," to postgraduate students. Amir has a passion for research and innovation in the areas of Project Success, Systems Thinking, Organizational Maturity, and Gender Equality in Projects. He has contributed to the field through publications in esteemed journals and conferences and supervises several PhD candidates.
Amir has been a dedicated volunteer with PMIQ for the past six years and has taken on a leadership role as the director of the 'academic outreach' portfolio, contributing to the organization's efforts in fostering collaboration between academia and industry in the field of project management.
