Managing Conflict Through Effective Leadership | April Chapter Event
Overview
Conflict management is an essential skill for project leaders - we need to identify, understand, and resolve conflict in a constructive manner, every day. With project performance being fundamentally driven by team performance, we need to be prepared to manage disagreement, varying opinions, and confusion in order to be successful.
In this session, Mike will explore the sources of conflict, personalities, strategies, and the importance of active listening, empathy, & effective communication in resolving conflict.
Gauge your personality and that of your key stakeholders, create relationships that form a foundation to navigate uncertainty, challenge, and trying times, and inspire others to focus on the end game and deliver results.
Come along to hear what Mike has to share (insights and real-world examples) and walk away with some simple advice to take your approach to project and conflict management to the next level.
