July Career Club Clinic - in person

Overview

Experience an in-person one-on-one session with an experienced career coach to improve your job interview skills, presentation and resume. This personalised session is ideal for project professionals who are enthusiastic about making positive changes in their careers.

Preparation for the session commences 1 week beforehand, starting with pairing you up with our career coach based on your professional background and roles you are considering to pivot into. The Clinic will help review and update your resume, considering potential links to a new role/company you are interested in applying for.

 

Pre-work Deadline: 18-July-2023 @ 6pm Submit Resume and Job Description you would like to work during the mock interview (in .doc or .pdf) to professional.development@pmiqld.org

John is a multi-awarded coach with a brilliant career spanning 3 decades. He is a Career and Management Consultant, a certified Coach, Leader and Mentor bringing out the best in people applying a 'LEAD FROM WITHIN' philosophy. John is also a Career Transition and Executive Coach working with leaders up to CxO Level. He is a member of PMI Qld, International Coach Federation (ICF) and Career Development Association Australia (CDAA)

Lynda has helped hundreds of managers and professionals with their career plans, personal brand stories and job applications since 2014 after a successful corporate career in marketing, HR and training. She loves to get to know your personal story and clarify the difference you make at work which is the foundation of your 'value proposition'. Lynda's services include career coaching, Resume and LinkedIn profile writing, selection criteria and interview coaching.

Donal has over five years of experience recruiting in the Brisbane market, and a previous two years managing recruitment advertising campaigns in Ireland, Donal currently leads the Technology & Transformation team for Robert Walters.

Courtenay Hickey is a Consultant who specialises in recruitment for Project Services and Transformation roles. She has been recruiting in Brisbane for the last year and predominantly working with financial services. She loves going for a hike in the mountains on weekends.

Rob Percy is a Senior Consultant who specialises in recruitment for Engineers, Testers, Technical Leads and Data Analysts. He has been recruiting in Brisbane for the last two years and works predominantly with SMEs. He is also an avid Manchester United fan.
