Artificial Intelligence (AI) .. THE END OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT AS WE KNOW IT? Meet PMI's Global Leadership Team

Power Skills

Overview

The rise of artificial intelligence has sparked both hopes and fears regarding the impact this technology will leave on society. For every technological advance in fields like machine learning, there are concerns among many about the potential of machines to replace humans in the workforce.

Yet future-leaning organisations continue to show the potential in embracing a proactive approach - not simply reacting to technological disruption, but actively leveraging technology to shape the future.

This event will commence with a presentation on AI and the role of AI in Project Management by Matt Tomlinson from the PMI Board of Directors. Matt will share his perspective on how the continued emergence of AI should be seen as an opportunity - not a threat - to help project professionals drive greater value and bring ideas to life.

Following Matt's presentation, join us for a panel discussion with other members of the PMI Board of Directors as well as accomplished leaders from the Queensland community, moderated by Martin McKern, Immediate Past Chair of PMI Queensland. Panelists will share how they are forging their own path in the AI world with innovative ideas, skills, and what it all means for us as project professionals.

This event is a great opportunity to meet the PMI Board of Directors and other leaders from the Project Management Insitute IN PERSON. Bring your colleagues and leaders from your organisation along to this informative event!
