Who better than a recent graduate (international students) to help you navigate professional life after university?

Academic Outreach is thrilled to host an evening featuring two recent Australian graduates currently working in project management roles.

It is an online webinar format that will ensure students from all parts of Queensland can register and participate in what will be an excellent opportunity to seek more information about the road beyond school.

This is an event that no project management student will want to miss.

Sheyda Kazemi, PMPis a Project Manager at the Department of Education and Training (VIC).
Sheyda had become a reliable planner and organiser. While working as an events management professional, she wanted a new challenge and more satisfying career. She studied Master of Project Management at RMIT University and graduated in 2019. Shortly after that, she pursued her PMP certificate. Since she was passionate about contributing to the community, she secured a job as an Events Adviser in the Victorian State Government. After a few months, she got seconded to a new role and led the Entity Portfolio Management Office at the Department of Premier and Cabinet, where she oversaw the progress of the $3.5 billions Family Violence Reform’s key projects and initiatives. Sheyda is currently working as a Project Manager at Entity Program Management Office at DET (VIC).

Dale Truscott is a Senior Project Officer within Queensland Treasury’s Commercial and Investment division, where he undertakes commercial analysis and program management responsibilities for the Queensland Government’s Invested in Queensland program. He previously spent two decades working as a music industry project manager, festival producer, business owner and orchestral musician in Australia, Germany and Sweden.
Dale completed a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from the Queensland University of Technology in 2021, obtained his CAPM certification from the Project Management Institute in 2018, and holds further tertiary qualifications in business management and music. He is an active member of PMIQ and aspires to obtain his PMP certification in the future.
