No Pause Button: Delivering Complex Transformation
OVERVIEW
MoveBank, a 58-year-old rmutual bank, recently completed an 18-month, world first whole-of-bank transformation onto the 'bank-in-a-box' Constantinople platform: core migration, product & UX overhaul, channel redesign, and an operating model reset, all while maintaining member service and APRA compliance. Escient partnered with the Bank for the implementation, augmenting program management, governance, business readiness and member change.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
- Governance must flex between compliance cadence and start-up speed, not default to either.
- Business readiness and member change are parallel workstreams, not a pre-go-live add-on.
- Post-go-live support capacity is its own deliverable, technical success doesn't guarantee operational readiness.
- Lean resourcing at this scale needs flexible capability
