Quantum Technologies: The Next Colossal Program of Projects
OVERVIEW
The event, “Quantum Technologies: The Next Colossal Program of Projects”, presented by Dr. Greg Skulmoski, explores how quantum technologies are set to transform industries and project management. With the UN declaring 2025 the International Year of Quantum Science and Technologies, the session highlights both the vast opportunities—curing diseases, developing new materials, and strengthening fraud detection—and the significant risks, such as hackers exploiting quantum power to access critical systems.
Attendees will learn about the decade-long wave of complex, sustained quantum projects that PMOs and technology departments will face. The presentation ties quantum program management to established frameworks like PMBOK®, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ITIL, and ISO standards, ensuring a familiar and structured delivery approach.
Ultimately, this event positions project managers at the forefront of a revolutionary era, blending cutting-edge innovation with trusted project management practices
