Overview

Delays are one of the most common causes of commercial disputes in the construction industry. An understanding of these concepts can prevent you from getting into nasty disputes and will help reduce your stress levels. The good news is you don’t need to be a lawyer to benefit from the knowledge the experts use. This seminar will help you to get your head around your commercial rights and obligations when dealing with delays to construction projects.

Robin founded Ram Education in 2009, in response to industry demands that Project Management training be delivered by subject-matter-experts in construction. Clients say that he has a talent for explaining complex subjects in a simple way. This, combined with an Engineering degree and significant industry experience, sets him apart from other trainers. Robin started his career "in the trenches" as a Project Engineer, then Project Manager - leading teams on some of the most complex and toughest projects around. His hands-on experience, in everything from modest projects to major initiatives worth hundreds of millions of dollars, underpins his practical, no-nonsense approach. Having worked on both the contractor and client side of the fence, he’s well placed to provide you with unique perspectives from both points of view. As an educator, he has developed content and personally trained over 2,500 project professionals in Australia, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
