L&L Aug | The Art & Science of Influence and Persuasion: How to get things done!
Overview
The Art & Science of Influence and Persuasion: HOW TO GET THINGS DONE!
On a personal level, we are all engaging in the art and science of influence & persuasion in our daily lives, whether we are trying to convince our boss to give us a raise, getting friends to help us move house for the umpteenth time, or cajoling an instructor into letting us squeeze into a full pilates class.
As Project Managers, we often seek to influence our stakeholders and sponsors to recognise the merits of a particular solution or direction. While most of us hate "sales" we are all constantly selling ourselves, our projects and our organisations, whether we like it or not.
Join this session to learn why moving hearts and minds is crucial to your survival and success as a Project Manager, and how to do it effectively and ethically.

- How to use the science to significantly increase the chances that someone will be persuaded by your request
