Overview

The Public Healthcare system is a complex industry driven by many dynamic factors. Most individuals have likely received medical attention from the public healthcare system at some point.
Population growth, legislation and policy, new treatments, technological advancement, and even international events all influence the supply and demand of healthcare services. The underpinning goal is to provide the public with world-class medical care.
This session will introduce some key terminologies of the Public Healthcare system. It will discuss challenges and lessons learnt from the go-live of a large 900+ bed metropolitan hospital, as well as innovative digital transformations and the re-engagement of a high-profile clinical initiative.
