Academic Outreach | Behind-the-Scenes: What to Expect as a Project Manager
Project Management is an exciting yet challenging and unpredictable profession. Its practice expands well beyond theory, study, and certification learned within an academic setting. The academic classroom offers knowledge and opportunity and the real-life experiences of Project Management professionals illuminate students' knowledge with first-hand stories.
Behind-the-Scenes pulls back the curtains and offers students an opportunity to connect with distinguished speakers who will share career insights as professional Project Managers. With a wealth of experience from different industries, our speakers will share their stories of challenges and rewards from diverse projects ranging in scope, budget, and complexity. The event promises to highlight similarities and differences experienced during a day in the life of professional Project Managers. This is an evening project management students will not want to miss!
