A consultants retrospective of the event

On November 3rd, 2016, the PMIQ Chapter held the first-ever event of this kind outside of the United States.  At the Brisbane Convention and Events Centre, 54 representatives from 20 charity and NFP organisations sat with 56 project management consultants and together they addressed a wide variety of project initiatives ranging from engineering based development to operational change to special event planning.

In 2017, the event grew to two locations (Brisbane and the Gold Coast) and we expanded our offering to 32 charities.  The two events combined have generated over $250,000 of consulting services for FREE and benefitted almost 40 charitable/NFP organisations!  The essence of giving was real and instantly realised by those offering their services, and benefits were immediate and tangible for those receiving.  For us at PMIQ, it was a fantastic opportunity to coordinate the bringing together of both parties in a way never done before in Australia!

This year we are going to do it again!  We are going to use the same ingredients towards the same outcome.  Our team is already working in the background getting the logistics of the event sorted out.  We welcome your interest in participating in this year's event and you can find more information and the appropriate registration pages through the links below.

By volunteering for this event you will earn eight PDUs that will count towards your PMI certification renewal status.

Did you know that the PMDoS is a NATIONAL event now?  That's correct - there will be an event at each of the major city centres across the country!  Want to know more?  Hop over to the national site or have a look at each chapter's PMDoS sites here:
