Our latest Pulse of the Profession® research suggests a positive change in the way organizations are managing projects and programs. For the first time in five years, more projects are meeting original goals and business intent and being completed within budget. Organizations are wasting an average of $97 million for every $1 billion invested, due to poor project performance—that’s a 20 percent decline from one year ago. However, it has found that Australia fared worse than the global average, with $108 million wasted for every billion dollars spent on infrastructure.
